How to make your tablet kid-friendly

Here are apps you need to entertain the little ones

If you have kids in the house, it is more than likely that they use your gadgets too. It’s not surprising they already know how to take selfies and operate gadgets at a young age. We also can’t deny that one of the ways to pacify a restless child is to let them play with your phone or tablet.  That said, you have no choice but to give up some space in the memory and download game apps for them.

We have listed a few of the game apps we think the little ones will enjoy, which to be honest, we love playing too!

Talking apps by Outfit7

Outfit7 is the creator of many interactive talking apps made for children. Currently, they have six lead characters — Talking Tom, Talking Angela, Talking Ginger, Talking Ben, Talking Pierre, and Talking Hank.

For the little princesses of the house, get them My Talking Angela. The newest version allows them to dress Angela in various outfits in different colors. Little girls get to change Angela’s hairstyle and they can put makeup on her too. Collecting stickers will also allow them to unlock new hairstyles, clothes, and makeup. For the little boys, you can get them Talking Tom. Just like with My Talking Angela, the kids can customize Tom’s clothes too. Over 10 mini-games will allow you to earn gold coins to buy new clothes, new furniture, and food.

Pou

Similar to Tamagotchi of the 90s, Pou is an alien pet that grows when fed. Just like any real pet, you have to clean and play with it. A more gender-neutral game app, Pou is also interactive as kids can talk to Pou and it can listen back. Leveling up will allow your kids to customize Pou and get special items. Playing games in the Game Room will make you earn coins which you can use to buy new outfits, hats, and eyeglasses. Pou is also available in 20 languages.

The objective of the game is to connect three or more treats to make matches and serve guests. The guests can be members of the family or friends — you can customize add your photos, making the game even more fun! Leveling up will allow the player to unlock power-ups and character combo boosters.
